Butler, T'Wolves have "questions" about Wiggins; Could the young star be on the trade block soon?

Jimmy Butler may be one of the best defenders in the NBA, and when he takes offense to another not doing the same, which means there is likely going to be trouble.

Butler lashed out about his teammate Andrew Wiggins saying that he is "uncertain" about playing with the 23-year-old because of "his work ethic and approach on the defensive end of the floor." According to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News.

Just so you know Wiggins is not going anywhere unless it's through a trade, because the T'Wolves signed the former Kansas star to a 5-year/$146 million max deal in 2017.

Wiggins also concerned coach Tom Thibodeau and owner Glen Taylor expressed to the associated press that he would like to see more from the young star forward.

"When you're talking about negotiations on his part, I'm already extending to him that I'm willing to meet the max," Taylor said in August. "But there are some things that I need out of him, and that is the commitment to be a better player than you are today."

This could be a concern going forward for a Minnesota franchise that coming off their first playoff appearance in 13 seasons. Another knock against Wiggins is that his scoring took a hit last season after averaging a career high 23.6 points per game during the '16-'17 season, it dropped down to 17.7 last season.

Could there be a chance that the T'Wolves move Wiggins on draft night? This is definitely something to keep an eye on draft night nears. It's the second rumor of the team being unhappy with a star player in the Minnesota, Karl Anthony-Towns name floated around after the teams first round exit against the Houston Rockets. I think there may be some shaking and moving soon.

The Falcons drafting a running back could be a smart move

The Atlanta Falcons are bringing in running back prospects to interview and work out for the upcoming NFL draft starting with Georgia running back Nick Chubb. It's something I definitely agree  with as a fan and an analyst.

What will the Atlanta Falcons do at #26?

The Atlanta Falcons are two years post-Super Bowl appearance and they still have a nice window to return there. They have some holes to fill on both sides of the ball, whether it's to find a starter or to add depth at key positions. I think they could use the #26 pick in the first round of the draft to add depth at defensive tackle, right guard, tight end or free safety. Grady Jarrett needs a big body on the other side of him, with Dontari Poe hitting free agency Atlanta has to get a space eater/gap filler that helps in the run game. Austin Hooper has been a good addition to the Falcons offense, but still needs to grow and Atlanta needs reliable hands in the red zone. Wes Schweitzer has not been consistent and has seen some bad snaps that could land him as a role player. This could be the position the Falcons could use the 26th pick but that still remains to be seen. The Falcons need depth at the safety with the team releasing Ishmael and R...

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
