The Falcons are in need of help on the defensive line and there could be a short-term solution that's on the market. Former 2nd round pick of the Giants back in 2013, has been a solid run stopper and a cap friendly player during his 5-year career. Hankins cap hit will not be a major blow if he gets an incentive laced deal. His base salary last season with the Colts was $3 million but his roster bonus was $7.5 million of a 3-year deal worth $27 million dollars. The Falcons don't have a ton of cap space but I think they could sign him for around $3-$4 million a year and backload his deal. Hankins could be a big body the Falcons need in the middle of their line after losing Dontari Poe to the Panthers. His massive frame could draw a double team and give Grady Jarrett more room to roam. He is a traditional 3-4 nose tackle/end, but the Falcons could use him as a defensive tackle, just as the Giants did when they took him out of Ohio State. Grady Jarrett is going into the
