The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. The NBA playoffs are finally h ere s o let's get ready to rumble! I think this time the road to the championship is tougher in both conferences and there will be an upset or two, but here are my five biggest questions heading into the 2018 NBA playoffs. Can the Warriors go back to back? The champs battled injuries down the stretch including their star guard Steph Curry, who missed nearly and entire month. The warriors went into a slump down the stretch with one of the worst in the NBA. Curry will miss the first round of the playoffs which is no big deal but how will he hold up? Steve Kerr will have to keep damage control to a minimum. Could LeBron finally get eliminated before the NBA Finals? The Cavs cleaned house at the trade deadline and they have adjusted pretty well as a team but can they get it done in the East? LeBr on James is always giving credit where credit is due but now he turned the arrow in a different direction, towards himself. He was asked who was MVP and he gave his opinion on other top candidates such as James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis, but he calmly said: "I would vote for me," James told The Associated Press. "The body of work, how I'm doing it, what's been happening with our team all year long, how we've got so many injuries and things of that nature, guys in and out, to be able to still keep this thing afloat, I definitely would vote me." Now in his 15th season, James is having arguably the best season of his career averaging 27.4 ppg, 9.1 apg and 8.6 rpg. Those numbers are worthy of consideration for MVP but you have to keep in mind what the other candidates have over come.
