Could LeBron be moving to......The Bay area?

Stephen A. Smith has put the word out that LeBron will "Sit down" and talk to the Golden State Warriors this offseason as he puts his plans in motion on where to continue his career.

LeBron James future is in question with the Cavs and he has a plan that will go into effect as soon as the NBA Finals comes to an end. He currently has four teams on his radar,  which are the Cavs, Rockets, Lakers and 76ers.

Golden State is on the outside looking in but are not out of the conservation. LeBron signing with the Warriors would have to consist of Golden State having to part with one or maybe two of their star players.

Klay Thompson is taking his time on deciding where he wants to play and Kevin Durant has opted out, which makes him a free agent (He will likely return), so the Warriors can easily clear up cap space. Draymond Green would likely be the odd man out of they can land King James.

Green has two years left on his deal but if Golden State could land a suitor that could give them a expiring contract, then Draymond will likely be on the first thing smoking out of town.

Golden State would have to clear at least the $35.6 million in cap space that LeBron is going to turn down from his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, and the way the Warriors ownership group pursued Kevin Durant a couple of seasons ago, LeBron would for sure have a shot at being in a Golden State uniform

The Warriors have one of the highest payrolls in the NBA, and they would have to put in overtime to rework some deals before pulling off this blockbuster deal.

  1. Would definitely stop following the NBA 100% if he does go to the Bay LOL. Parity would officially disappear. I do respect their front-running because I know they want to win, but a bit boring for us fans. High school and college hoops for me, at least when I am back in the USA.

The Falcons drafting a running back could be a smart move

The Atlanta Falcons are bringing in running back prospects to interview and work out for the upcoming NFL draft starting with Georgia running back Nick Chubb. It's something I definitely agree  with as a fan and an analyst.

What will the Atlanta Falcons do at #26?

The Atlanta Falcons are two years post-Super Bowl appearance and they still have a nice window to return there. They have some holes to fill on both sides of the ball, whether it's to find a starter or to add depth at key positions. I think they could use the #26 pick in the first round of the draft to add depth at defensive tackle, right guard, tight end or free safety. Grady Jarrett needs a big body on the other side of him, with Dontari Poe hitting free agency Atlanta has to get a space eater/gap filler that helps in the run game. Austin Hooper has been a good addition to the Falcons offense, but still needs to grow and Atlanta needs reliable hands in the red zone. Wes Schweitzer has not been consistent and has seen some bad snaps that could land him as a role player. This could be the position the Falcons could use the 26th pick but that still remains to be seen. The Falcons need depth at the safety with the team releasing Ishmael and R...

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
