Michael Beasley on Hawks radar

Michael Beasley has been a journeyman during his
10 NBA seasons and it seems he coud be on the move again.  He is rumored to be on the radar of the Suns (Played for Phoenix in 2012) and Hawks. Mark Berman  New York post first broke the new Tuesday:

According to an NBA source, the Hawks and Suns have interest in Beasley and both clubs have cap space. Beasley has a home in Atlanta and is said to be intrigued.

Atlanta could use Beasley's scoring off the bench (13.2 ppg for Knicks last season) and a veteran presence on a team that is full of young talent.

However Beasley's cap number (Around $8.6 million)  could be steep for a player that has disappeared at times during his career.

Even though it's highly unlikely he would land in Atlanta because of 5 other teams that are in pursuit,  Beasley is not the type player I could see the Hawks getting in a bidding war to acquire.

There will be names out there such as Jabari Parker,  Avery Bradley, Greg Monroe just to name a few, sooo Beasley is just a rumor at this point.

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with time, he lost his running

The Falcons drafting a running back could be a smart move

The Atlanta Falcons are bringing in running back prospects to interview and work out for the upcoming NFL draft starting with Georgia running back Nick Chubb. It's something I definitely agree  with as a fan and an analyst.
