Drake calls out NBA player, fight nearly ensues

Drake is known for having beef in the streets but now he's got it on the hardwood too. Drake and Cavs forward Kendrick Perkins argument went 0 to 100 real quick.....(ironic huh)

It started at the half of Game 1 of the Cavs/Raptors after the two exchanged heated words, Drake charged towards Perkins but he was retained by Cavs players. It continued at the end of as Drake told Perkins to "Come out of the tunnel".

I'm know that I'm a pretty smart guy and stop me if I'm wrong but Drake charging a 6'10/270-lb dude will not end well for the 6' foot Canadian rapper.

After the game, Perkins told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, "What happened was I was talking to my old teammate Serge [Ibaka] walking into halftime telling him 'We about to win this game,' and Drake butted in talking sh*t to me. So I said something back to him."

Drake called Perkins a "F**king P***y" and it escalated from there. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in Game 2 because Drake and Perkins teammate LeBron James are friends. I smell a Drake diss track in the works.

The Falcons drafting a running back could be a smart move

The Atlanta Falcons are bringing in running back prospects to interview and work out for the upcoming NFL draft starting with Georgia running back Nick Chubb. It's something I definitely agree  with as a fan and an analyst.

What will the Atlanta Falcons do at #26?

The Atlanta Falcons are two years post-Super Bowl appearance and they still have a nice window to return there. They have some holes to fill on both sides of the ball, whether it's to find a starter or to add depth at key positions. I think they could use the #26 pick in the first round of the draft to add depth at defensive tackle, right guard, tight end or free safety. Grady Jarrett needs a big body on the other side of him, with Dontari Poe hitting free agency Atlanta has to get a space eater/gap filler that helps in the run game. Austin Hooper has been a good addition to the Falcons offense, but still needs to grow and Atlanta needs reliable hands in the red zone. Wes Schweitzer has not been consistent and has seen some bad snaps that could land him as a role player. This could be the position the Falcons could use the 26th pick but that still remains to be seen. The Falcons need depth at the safety with the team releasing Ishmael and R...

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
