Conor McGregor in NYPD custody after incident at the Barclay's Center

Conor McGregor is in police custody in New York after turning himself in Thursday night to NYPD. Police issued a warrant for his arrest after McGregor threw a guard rail at a bus that was full of fighters. It injured one fighter. He was also involved in a melee back
stage after a news conference for UFC 223.

McGregor was seen on video causing chaos along with others at an elevator that led
to the loading deck.

What was most fascinating about this is McGregor was unannounced to the event. Shortly after the incident UFC president Dana White announced McGregor was wanted by local police.

White issued the following statement:

"They're looking for him right now. His plane cannot take off, he cannot leave the state of New York with this warrant. He'll be grounded. I'm assuming, eventually, if they don't catch him, he'll turn himself in," White says. "I imagine he's going to be sued beyond belief and... this is a real bad career move for him."

UFC also added:"The organization deems today's disruption completely unacceptable and is currently working on the consequences that will follow," UFC said in a statement. "Individuals involved in the incident are not welcome at tomorrow's ceremonial weigh-in or Saturday's event at Barclays Center."

LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
