UConn Women Huskies Blow Out in 1st Round Tournament.

Good gosh.... The cleanest reaction I can have win learning of this defeat... Unfortunately, St. Francis of Pennsylvania was defeated 140 to 52.

This brings the Women Huskies to win number 33 and potentially counting.

We had six Huskies score in double figures, and we only had 2 score double figures for St. Francis. The highest scorer for St. Francis had 12 points. The first quarter was pretty much the end for St.Francis, as they were outscored 55 to 19. This is a record for most points scored in a quarter in the NCAA tournament, and the 94 points total by halftime was  another record set, the previous being 80 points.

Hell of a job lady Huskies, and I'm certain you've heard this enough times: "don't get overconfident", and remain focused on the tournament at all times.

For St.Francis, don't be embarrassed by the loss. Don't let this demoralize you. Use it as motivation for next year especially those that are not seniors. And for my seniors, use it as motivation for life. Keep moving forward and control your destiny.

SCORE     1ST.  2ND. 3RD. 4TH.  TOT
UCONN:     55     39      22    24     140
ST.FRAN:   19     12      17     4       52

Could LeBron be moving to......The Bay area?

Stephen A. Smith has put the word out that LeBron will "Sit down" and talk to the Golden State Warriors this offseason as he puts his plans in motion on where to continue his career.

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
