Julio Jones puts an end to contract rumors

Julio "Jet" Jones has been wrongly convicted of holding the Falcons fans in disarray after skipping voluntary OTA's as means to a contract dispute,  but that's not the case at all.

Julio Jones has finally put the holdout rumours to rest as he answered to TMZ:

"It's not even about that," Jones said. "Everyone wants a story right now. There's no story to be told. I'm just working on getting myself better. I'm just working on myself right now. That's all that is. There's no bad blood between me and the team or anything like that.

"Everybody on the outside trying to look in and trying to destroy what we built there. I'm not going nowhere. I'll be there. I love the team. I love the organization. I love everybody there. I'm good."

Jones is going into his 8th season with the Falcons and he is on the cusp of shattering all of the franchise's receiving records.

Julio is the main target for Matt Ryan and the focal point of one of the league's most lethal offensive unit's, so why would there be no Jones in Atlanta? The Falcons lost their last two superstars in Deion Sanders and Michael Vick but this time that mistake will not happen.

Owner Arthur Blank came out last week and said "Julio will be a Falcon for life", Jones agreed and uttered the same exact words "I am going to be an Atlanta Falcon for life!"

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with time, he lost his running

The Falcons drafting a running back could be a smart move

The Atlanta Falcons are bringing in running back prospects to interview and work out for the upcoming NFL draft starting with Georgia running back Nick Chubb. It's something I definitely agree  with as a fan and an analyst.
