Have the Cavs hit their stride?

LeBron James is heading towards a 9th NBA finals appearance and it seems he's gunning for one more shot at the World Champion Warriors. James and the Cavs swept the Raptors in the Eastern conference semifinals and will face Boston or Philadelphia in the Eastern conference finals.

Cleveland seems that they have gelled more as the playoffs have progressed, but the true test is yet to come. LeBron averaged 31.6 points per game in the playoffs and going forward he will have to will his team to victory, but if the Cavs get an all-out team effort like they did in Game 4, we could be looking at LeBron's second title in his hometown.

Whomever takes the Boston/Sixers will have a lot on their hands with this Cleveland squad and you would have to ask yourself this going forward:

Can Boston beat the Cavs in a fast paced game?  Could Brad Stevens will his team without either of his superstar players? If Houston defeats the Warriors,  Will the Rockets have the firepower to beat a Cavs team that has hit their stride?

Once the best player in the world hits stride it may be what he needs going forward to take his crown back and kill the offseason suspence of his leaving his "The Land"  once again.

Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
