Dead body found at the home of Giants CB Janoris Jenkins

New Jersey police were called to the home of Janoris Jenkins Tuesday morning after a worker found the body of a male in the basement.  The Prosecutor office told TMZ the man was not the owner of the property.

No one knows how long the man has been there and they are withholding information until the next of kin is notified.

TMZ says "The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided when it's available and appropriate for release. "

Jenkins 29, has been in Florida since mandatory mini camp and was not present at the time of the incident. Both he and the Giants are aware of the situation.

Jenkins has been advised to remain in Florida according to sources.
