Floyd Mayweather's bodyguard shot in Atlanta



One of Floyd Mayweather's bodyguards was shot outside of an Atlanta hotel early Monday and is
recovering in an Atlanta area hospital. The vehicle was targeted according to a police report around 3 a.m. this morning.

Mayweather was present but was not harmed APD spokeswoman Lisa Bender said, "We believe that Mr. Mayweather may have been in one of the other vehicles in the caravan and was not injured," an APD news release said.



The entourage and Mayweather were en route to the intercontinental an upscale area in midtown Atlanta.
Mayweather partied at the club where the incident happened and patrons of the club knew of his appearance via video throughout the night.

The bodyguard was taken to Grady hospital after the convoy lost the suspects, he's said to be in stable condition.
