Here's a thought when it comes to the national anthem. Let's get rid of it. My reasoning behind it is it's causing an issue. Now I don't want to get religious, but I'll tell you this, this song won't get you into the heavens. It won't get you in good graces with God. And for those that are not religious, it's not going to prolong your life and help you live hundreds and thousands of years. You have to understand that we've allowed words to separate Humanity. You didn't write it, I didn't write it, the founding fathers wrote what we call or is known as the Constitution which states freedom of speech!!! So with that said, let's just get rid of the anthem and this creates a neutral ground for us all to enjoy ourselves

I don't know of any football team that is going overseas to fight for our country. The key takeaway is I never said player, I said Team. I don't believe these teams are trained for combat. So again, why do we have an Anthem in the first place when it comes to the game of sports?

Rather than point out any inaccuracies in history, we need to accept the truth of free speech. Let's ease the tension and seize the opportunity to correct an issue that is causing separation and robbing us of enjoyment.

Stephen A. Smith has put the word out that LeBron will "Sit down" and talk to the Golden State Warriors this offseason as he puts his plans in motion on where to continue his career.

Smitty's Top 10 NBA players heading into the 2018-2019 season

The NBA has some of the best athletes in sports but when it comes to playing basketball, some players stand out and know how to take their game to another level. Here are my top 10 players that can do just that, play at another level.  1. LeBron James SF Los Angeles Lakers  2017-2018 Stats: 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg   The king lived up to his name this season as he carried the Cavs to a 4th straight finals appearance. He played in all 82 games (first time in his career) and endured a trade, so he's still #1. 2. Kevin Durant SF Golden State Warriors 2017-2018 Stats:  26.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.4 apg  The now 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP also put on a show this past season as he excelled on the defensive side of the ball, something he isn't known for throughout his career.  3. Anthony Davis C New Orleans Pelicans 2017-2018 Stats: 28.1 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.3 apg  This young stud is only getting better with ...
